Pastor Agrees to Return Member’s Car After Failed Prophecy Dispute

Pastor David Emmanuel Ovie, founder of the God in Action Liberation Mission

Pastor David Emmanuel Ovie, founder of the God in Action Liberation Mission, has come to an agreement with one of his church members regarding the return of an SUV, following an alleged failed prophecy. The resolution reached through an out-of-court settlement, transpired at the Ebrumede Police Station.

Temitope Monday Diamond, the church member who had entrusted his Lexus RX330 to the pastor after a prophetic message, disclosed to our correspondent via phone conversation on Friday that Pastor David Emmanuel Ovie has committed to reimbursing him with N4.5 million for the vehicle. Of this sum, the pastor has already paid N2 million, with a remaining balance of N2.5 million.

Initially intending to press charges against the pastor, the aggrieved church member revealed that the intervention of the DPO led to a reconsideration of this approach. Instead, they opted for an amicable resolution, despite initially declining the pastor’s offer of N4 million due to incurred legal and community-related expenses.
