People’s Democratic Party, PDP political groups have set to clash in Bori Rivers State Over Wike And Atiku Rubbles and show of supremacy bedevilling the party.
Thu!gs allegedly recruited by the chairman Khana Local Government Area Of Rivers State, Dr Thomas Bariere disrupted meeting of National Mandate Group In Bori, Rivers state Nigeria.
A meeting of the National Mandate Group, an organization registered in Nigeria to promote good governance was disrupted in their peaceful rally on Sunday.
The rally was targetted to promoting the Presidential flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The event was disrpted on Sunday 21st August 2022 in Bori by unknown counter groups said to be associated with the Khana Local Government Chairman Dr Thomas Bariere.
The meeting which started about 2pm on Sunday, was beseeched by a group led by the Khana LGA PDP Chairman Mr Lenebari Inaania who invaded the venue of the meeting at about 3pm.
The party chairman of people’s Democratic Party PDP in the area said that he was directed by the council boss to stop us from holding the meeting.
That the agenda for the meeting ,” mobilizing the grassroots for Atiku is offensive to the leadership of the party in the state.
It is extremely shameful that a meeting that was held in a private facility belonging to the Distinguished Senator Lee Maeba, located opposite the Divisional Police Station in Bori with the DSS office , and Chairman’s Lodge adjacent to it can be described as hideout for crim!inals.
Recall that yesterday the Khana Local Government Council chairman Thomas Bariere, was said to have uncovered a hideout allegedly used for illegal meetings and activities in Bori.
The convener of the meeting a former Commissioner for Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment Dr Leloonu Nwibubasa and Spokesman of National Mandate Group in Rivers State is a member of PDP, a medical Practitioner and an Entrepreneur per excellence.
“We have also been informed on good authority that Dr Nwibubasa may be declared wanted and his private medical facility sealed up for convening a meeting to mobilize support for the PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
The property used for the meeting belonging to Senator Lee Maeba Diabetic Foundation had also been marked for demolition by the governor Wike led adminstration.
It is important that all men of good conscience must rise to stop the anarchy that is being brewed by Governor Nyesom Wike in Rivers State, he said!
This is inline with the political rubbles between the duo, the governor Wike’s group and that of Presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s loyalists.
