The Commissioners from Plateau State have raised more than #60 million to purchase Form for Governor Simon Bako Lalong, to contest for the 2023 Senatorial election under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State.

According to the statement, Governor Lalong has restored Plateau to its place of reckoning by promoting peaceful co-existence and developmental projects for the benefit of common citizens irrespective of tribe, religion and creed.

The Commissioners further rated high the leadership qualities of Lalong who, as the chairman of Northern Governors Forum (NGF) has promoted unity and accommodation amongst different spheres.

According to Yakubu Datti, the Senate position will enable the entire Country to benefit from his demonstrated leadership potentials. They encouraged the youths, women, elders, both appointed and elected beneficiaries to join other stakeholders who are meeting day and night key into the victory train.

The Commissioners have concluded plans along with Prof. Danladi Atu, Secretary of Government of the State (SGS) and the Chief of Staff Hon. Noel Donjur on tuesday inline with the guildlines of APC released by the National Secretariat.
