Kenyans on Twitter are calling for the arrest of one Harriet Harriet Vihenda Akunava who allegedly has HIV AIDs and has been spreading the virus.

In pictures making rounds on social media for the past week, the lady writes, ” It’s time I came clean, I was bitter for many months but I can’t do this anymore. I am HIV POSITIVE and have been infecting men, I am sorry, forgive me, If I hanyad you get tested.”

The Kenyan lady, Harriet Vihenda Akunava took to social media to beg for forgiveness as she revealed that she is HIV positive and has infected several men with the dreaded disease.

While many thought she was joking, the lady released a video in which she showed off a test strip result to corroborate her claim. Akunava who disclosed that she has been deliberately infecting men with the virus, said it’s time for her to come clean.

She narrated that she was bitter for many months but can’t do that anymore. She said that she has been HIV positive and has infected many men who slept with her unsuspectingly.

“I am sorry, forgive me. Get tested if I have hanyad you,” she wrote.

In Kenya, any person who, having actual knowledge that he or she is infected with HIV or any other life-threatening sexually transmitted disease intentionally, knowingly and willfully does anything or permits the doing of anything which he or she knows or ought to reasonably know –

(a) will infect another person with HIV or any other life-threatening sexually transmitted disease;

(b) is likely to lead to another person being infected with HIV or any other life-threatening sexually transmitted disease;

(c) will infect another person with any other sexually transmitted disease,

shall be guilty of an offence, whether or not he or she is married to that other person, and shall be liable upon conviction to imprisonment for a term of not less fifteen years but which maybe for life.
