The match saw six Arsenal players receive yellow card.
Kevin de Bruyne got on the score sheet as early as the 19th minute.
Manchester City made it two goals when Sergio Aguero converted a controversial spot-kick in the 50th minute.
Arsenal, however, fought back through Alexandre Lacazette in the 65th.
But Gabriel Jesus netted what some believed was an offside goal in the 74the minute.
With the win, Manchester City have continued their unbeaten run since the start of the campaign.
