PRESIDENT TINUBU APPROVES RE-CONSTITUTION OF NATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS’ WORKING GROUP FOR NEITI

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the reconstitution of a 15-man National Stakeholders’ Working Group (NSWG) for Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI). 

The NSWG which has the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume as Chairman, include the following members: 

1.Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS,

Government Representative 

2.Group Chief Executive Officer, NNPC Ltd, 
Mele Kyari
Member
Representative of extractive companies (oil and gas)

4.Mr. Oghenegwueke Ajafia
Member
Oil Producers Trade Section, Lagos Chamber of Commerce (OPTS)

  1. President, Miners Association of Nigeria
    Mr. Dele Ayanleke
    Member Representative of extractive companies (mining)
  2. Representative of the Civil Member (To be elected by the CSOs).

The OSGF has written to the CSOs through NEITI to elect & present their representative and
the process is on.

  1. Engr. (Mrs.) Nkechi Isigwe
    Member Representative of  Women/ Geo-scientist. Former President, Association of Professional Women Engineers. Extractive Industries Expert.
