The Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Professor Chukwuma Soludo has told the people that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR inherited a system that is dead while investing huge efforts to reposition and improve Nigeria.

Reactions have continued to becloud this statement credited to His Excellency Professor Chukwuma on the state of Nigeria’s economy. But renowned economists across the world are in support of his statement and added that solution is near fetched with Tinubu’s renewed Hope administration.

As an expert in economy having taken care of the CBN as a Governor, his economical prowess makes the world take any of his statement that talks on economy as very important and factual.

On a recent TV Presentation with the Anambra State Governor, “This particular government (Tinubu’s) inherited a dead economy, Prof Soludo stated .

Soludo also added that from a macroeconomic point of view, this government inherited a dead economy like a dead horse that is still standing. But people did not know it was dead. You cannot pour water on a rock and expect that the rock will not be wet.

“There are humongous challenges and I think it is important that Nigerians understand this and it is not a tea party, Governor Chukwuma Soludo stated on Channels TV.

An anonymous economist and politician told our correspondent that H.E. Governor Charles Soludo has spoken loudly to Nigerians on the deplorable state of our economy as at May 29, 2023 when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR was sworn in.

He maintained that no one can impugn what he has said, he being a seasoned economist while stating that Governor Soludo’s words are an elder’s words of wisdom!, A political expert hinted.

Meanwhile, the economic situation of Nigeria worths to work upon to alleviate the poverty status and improve the condition of the masses. This has been aptly captured in the policy plan of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to grow the country better than as he met it.
