The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase has paid tributes to the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he attains the age of 70 years.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Umar Muhammad Puma, Wase said the life of Asiwaju has always been full of service to humanity and uplifting the lives of others.
“On behalf of my family, constituents and indeed the entire members of Green Chamber, I wish to heartily rejoice with the National Leader of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu, a leader par excellence and a great strategist as he attains the age of 70 today.
“Your leadership acumen has helped our generation a great deal. Your invaluable contributions to the development of our dear nation are commendable. To our great party, the APC, you have been a pillar of unity.
“I pray that the Almighty Allah will grant you many more healthy years so that you will continue your good works to advance and consolidate our democracy and good governance”.
