It is our onerous responsibility to Continue to detach or divorce facts from petty lies or falsehood. We shall Continue to let Nigerians of goodwill have an idea of the ugly situation in Imo State.

After the ugly incident at the Akachi Estate Owerri, on Sunday, February 21, 2021, fourteen (14) people said to have been arrested by the Police were arraigned before a Magistrate Court on Monday, February 22, 2021, and the 14 people were branded aides of the former governor and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

In our Consistent and Persistent claim, we had maintained that Okorocha had gone to Akachi Estate that Sunday, with only five aides. And our Claim has been authenticated with the names and identities of those arraigned before the Magistrate Court on Monday.

Out of the 14 people arraigned, we make bold to State and sincerely too, that, only two of them were Okorocha’s aides at the time of their arraignment. One of the 14 people was a social media Influencer. The remaining eleven, were cleaners and Security guards earlier arrested at the place when the Commissioner for lands, Barr. Enyinnya Onuegbu went to seal it.

These are the names of the fourteen people arraigned on Monday by the Police.
(1) Obasi Goodluck
(2) Nwaiwu Ndubuisi
(3) Median Ijeoma
(4) Obor Victor
(5) Ucheka Claudin
(6) Sunday Chisom
(7) Nev Rapheal
(8) Ekpendu Peace
(9) Basil Mba
(10) Olu Chizoba
(11) Ebere Nwokeji
(12) Ibekwe Darlington
(13) Steve Asimobi
(14) Eberendu Chimechefulam.

Out of these 14 people, only numbers 13 and 14, Barr. Steve Asimobi and Mr. Eberendu Chimechefulam are personal aides of Okorocha. Asimobi is Okorocha’s Senior legislative aide, while Mr. Eberendu was Okorocha’s ADC. Number 12, Mr. Ibekwe Darlington is a Social Media Influencer. The rest were cleaners Civil Security guards at the Estate.

The list of Okorocha’s legislative aides as Senator is domiciled at the Senate. The lists of his former aides are also in public domain. Let them disclose the identities or particulars of the rest.

It is also interesting to note that, the Police arrested and arraigned innocent people and allowed the thugs with knives and guns to go untouched. That’s the worrisome part of this episode.

We have also heard about those they said were at large. If the Police had arrested all those they saw at the place including cleaners and with the trending videos on the incident, there was no way anybody would have left there, to the extent of being said to be at large. This particular “film or movie” is interesting, but does not worth being watched.

Our argument is that, aside Steve Asimobi and Eberendu Chimechefulam, the rest of the 14 people who were arraigned on Monday, were either cleaners or Civil Security guards earlier arrested. They were not Okorocha’s aides. And we stand to be Contradicted.
