Unknown to most Nigerians, former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has another wife aside from the First Lady, Dame Patience Ibifaka Jonsthan (new Oba).
The existence of his second wife, Dr (Mrs) Ayima Lott Jonathan, popularly called Mrs Lott J, is one major aspect of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s family, which is consciously being kept out of the awareness of most Nigerians.
Lott J is not just President Jonathan’s second wife, she is also the mother of his children – two boys.
A law graduate of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), Lott is the daughter of Chief F. D Lott, the renowned lawyer and former Attorney-General of Bayelsa State.
She is the cousin of Diezani Allison-Madueke, the controversy-inclined Minister of Petroleum, and the two are close as blood sisters can be. Loot J’s father is a member of the Governing Council of Niger Delta University, Bayelsa.
She has been married to the former President even before he made his foray into politics.
Lott J recently bagged a Doctorate Degree in Education.
She is described as a very easy- going and self-effacing lady. She owns and runs a private school, Aduvie Montessori International, situated in Maitama and rated as one of the best in Abuja the capital city of Nigeria.
Mrs Ayima Lott Jonathan is described as a perfect example of woman of class, vigour and valour.
