Despite the news of his demise, late Anambra South Senatorial Lawmaker and business Mogul, Ifeanyi Ubah’s, name has been spotted on the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign list for the September 21, governorship poll in Edo State.
9News Nigeria recalls that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah reportedly died on July 27, in London, United Kingdom where he attended the graduation of one of his sons from a University.
A list from the National Campaign Council for the APC, which was presented before the Edo poll, shows Ubah’s name as a member of the finance committee chaired by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The council’s list which was divided into seven sub-committees was signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.
However, the sub-committees for the APC Edo election campaign process include contact and mobilization; security; election monitoring; youth mobilization; media and publicity; election management and strategy; and finance.
Chaired by Cross River State governor, Bassey Ottu and Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina is the Co-chairman, the council is expected to run the affairs of the APC in the state ahead of the governorship election.
