Honourable Comrade Sunday Asefon, the Presidential Senior Special Assistant on Students Engagement, has articulated the profound benefits of the Nigerian Students Loan Fund, emphasizing its pivotal role in enhancing access to tertiary education across the nation.
Asefon highlighted that far too many bright and promising students in Nigeria are forced to abandon their academic dreams because their families cannot afford the cost of higher education. He stressed that no student should have to make that painful choice between continuing their education and paying the bills. The Students Loan Fund stands as a beacon of hope, ensuring that financial constraints do not thwart the ambitions of young Nigerians eager to pursue their academic goals.
The Presidential Assistant appreciated President Tinubu for the establishment of the Nigerian Students Loan Fund and emphasized that the loan fund has ushered in a new era where students from all walks of life can attend university and graduate with a degree, regardless of their socio-economic background. This will open up opportunities and unlock the full potential of Nigeria’s youth.
