On the invitation of Kogi State Governor, His Excellecy, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Convener of The Asiwaju Group (TAG), Dr Mustapha Abdullahi attended the official commissioning of landmark projects by President Muhammadu Buhari in Kogi State.
At the commissioning of the incredibly built reference hospital in Okene, the TAG convener was in the Governor’s entourage to receive Mr President and showed him round the gigantic facility.
Thereafter, the team arrived in Lokoja to commsion the Ganaja Flyover built from scratch by the administration of Gov Yahaya Bello. The Flyover has improved vehicular movement around the metropolis whilst also giving the city the need beauty deserving of a state capital.
As part of the administration’s efforts in repositioning the education sector, the governor initiated some secondary school projects. The President took time out to commission the completed Yahaya Bello Model Secondary School also in Lokoja, the state capital of Kogi State. The President commended the Governor for being a performer and a believer in providing facilities suitable for world class learning for his people.
In furtherance of the State visit, Mr President proceeded to commissioning the Muhammadu Buhari Civic centre also located in Lokoja. The facility was named after the President with the Governor’s belief that Nigerian heroes ought to be celebrated while they are still alive. The Muhammadu Buhari Civic centre is a world class edifice befitting of the personality of the President.
The President thanked the Governor and the People of Kogi state for the support given to him and his administration and urged the Governor to continue to deliver on his campaign promises.
