Three persons linked to the alleged killing of a traditional ruler, identified as the Ponzi of Kwalak in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State were reportedly burnt to death by an angry mob on Friday evening.
Sources in the area said the killing of the monarch had thrown the community into mourning and tension.

According to residents, the suspects, said to be three in number, were apprehended by locals while allegedly trying to sell the stolen motorcycle and reportedly confessed to the crime.
It was also gathered that some residents were attempting to hand the suspects over to security operatives before hoodlums in their numbers overpowered the youths, seized them, and them ablaze not far from the Langtang Local Government Council Secretariat.
A source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “the suspects were caught by members of the community and allegedly confessed before the angry mob descended on them and burnt them.

The source added that the late monarch was attacked in his residence, shot, and dispossessed of his motorcycle and phone before the assailant fled.
Efforts to get official confirmation from security agencies proved abortive.as of the time of filing this report.
