He added that Government at all levels must rise up to their responsibility of providing security and good welfare to the citizens.

In addition, a traditional ruler in kebi state told our correspondent that traditional rulers are mobilizing civil guards within their communities but that is not enough to stamp down the menace.

A notable traditional ruler in the South South zone, pointed out that security needs serious mobilization and funding to catch up with the needed target of busting criminals at hiding points.

The traditional ruler stated emphatically the possible cause of insecurity as unemployment, youth restiveness, oppression and suppression of citizens’ rights by government agents.

From Ebonyi state, tribal wars and quest for power are major causes of insecurity in the state as told by an Ebonyi Royal Father. He added that presently the intra tribal war has reduced in Ebonyi state by the joint efforts of government and vigilant groups.

He further regretted the disbandment of Bakassi boys and pleaded with the government to grant autonomous status to various states on security while calling for the welcome back of such security outfit.

No doubt Abians are happy for the present administration under Governor Alex Otti as expressed by the people who spoke in anonymous with 9News Nigeria.

It was revealed that Alex Otti has taken drastic measure to reduce insecurity and bad roads in Abia. The recent was the bursting and take over of a notorious criminal hide out along Lokpanta axis and making the state peaceful for his subjects.

That cannot be enough as stated by a highly respected traditional ruler in the area, who noted with total dismay the killings and abductions going on across the states. The Monarch however called for mobilisation of personel and finding of security apparatus to secure the land.

Orlu zone in Imo state Nigeria has been a terror location for crime and criminal activities as gathered. Series of reports from various medium can confirm this as truth and evidential.

The crime prone in the Orlu area brought about the shutdown of the popular Orlu regional market and other businesses in the area. The area recorded the highest killings and abductions that took place in the recent shared prosperity administration in Imo state Nigeria.

The insecurity later proceeded to Okigwe zone and Mbano area had a drastic turn of the mess where scores of death was recorded. But at the fixing of their Owerri Orlu Okigwe road to its Okigwe boundary with Imo state by the Uzodinma’s led administration, crime has reduced to a minimal level.

The road is motorable with solar lights panels day and night to aid security intelligence and immediate response.

No doubt, several times, attacks on innocent citizens led to mobilization of military joint patrol team by the shared prosperity government to restore calm in the troubled zones but regrettedly the Mbaise, Ngor Okpala, Owerri West, Ohaji Egbema, Owerri North axis are presently being threatened by insecurity.

A notable Monarch in Imo state hinted that criminals disguise themselves in the name of cow rearers to attack farmers in the farms. And this is evidential in Owerri zone.

The Herders now terrorize Owerri zone area that led to a recent discovery of dead bodies by Hunters Security Service Imo state command at one Okeohia forest in Owerri West area.

Such search came as an outcome of threatening alarm raised by communities in the area over the continuous killings and abductions in their Forests and farms. Their women and youths are being threatened by herders found moving freely in their lands without recourse to the laws and traditions of the Communities.

In furtherance, continuous combing and bursting of criminal hideouts is a serious necessity in Imo state. This will eventually help to reducing such a menace bedevilling the area even at the time of filling this report by our correspondent.

Traditional Rulers Council Imo State is expected to organize town hall meetings and call for government immediate intervention across the villages.

This can be achieved when both the villagers and local vigilant groups work in tandem with the police and state security intelligence to identify gray areas and monitor activities regularly.

The call for security agencies to as a matter of urgency improve their intelligence architecture to protect the citizens is non negotiable and most important.
