I boarded PEACE MASS TRANSIT BUS with Reg no AXL 209 YY at UYO terminal from UYO(AKWA IBOM STATE) to YENAGOA(BAYELSA STATE) on 10th October, 2020.
The ticket and the bus are the evidents of the said journey. Just by the Ogoni bridge which is the boundary of Aks and Rivers State, the bus broke down, it’s was 12noon and the driver told us the company is sending a bus to pick us from their PH terminal. We waited from 12noon to 4pm no bus was send, I requested to speak with the PH manager through the driver’s line due to the loads that was with us. He promised a bus is coming, after an hour time, I call back with my line, he refused to pick my calls, I call Uyo terminal, nothing was done, mine you, we are yet to make half of the journey.
I was on the driver for him to put us in another bus or make some refund, which he refused rather told us “non of us paid our money to him, but to the company” this lead to a serious disagreement among us”
We were left to our fate, with the hold-up at petrochemical junction, I spend another #4000 to get to Yenagoa, the company(PMT) never call up till today to show concern.
