Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni hosted Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, at a state dinner held at State House, Entebbe.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God said the reception recognised the church’s contribution to spiritual development, social cohesion and community transformation across Africa.

During the dinner, Pastor Adeboye highlighted the RCCG’s commitment to preaching the gospel, planting churches across Africa and the diaspora. He emphasised the importance of Christian leaders combining spiritual ministry with practical service to society.
Pastor Mrs.Folu Adeboye spoke about the role of women in ministry and social transformation, highlighting RCCG initiatives including Africa Missions Global, The Wholustic Outreach and Habitation of Hope, which focus on education, empowerment, rehabilitation and support for vulnerable people.

The RCCG expressed appreciation to President Museveni, First Lady Janet Museveni and Ugandan government for the reception, reaffirming its commitment to its mission across 196 nations.
Adeboye also held a meeting with Bishop Dr. LaDonna Osborn, the Chief Executive Officer of Osborn Ministries International, during his visit to Kampala.
The Redemption Television Ministry said the meeting was a strategic fellowship between the two Christian leaders.
The engagement formed part of the wider activities of Adeboye’s apostolic visit, which focused on interactions with Christian leaders and other prominent leader in Uganda.
The visit further underscored the international reach of RCCG and Adeboye’s continued engagements with Christian communities and leaders outside Nigeria.
The activities are expected to further strengthen relationships between the RCCG and the Christian leaders in the country.
