Republican presidential candidate and former President, Donald Trump will face off Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris in Tuesday.
The debating session is different than it was two months ago with the today’s edition being Harris first time since becoming the Democratic nominee.
What has changed
A lot has happened. Trump survived an assassination attempt. President Joe Biden has dropped out of the race. Harris has grabbed the Democratic party’s nomination, gaining grounds and support.
What to expect
Firstly, there will be no audience and candidates will not be permitted to question each other directly.
Harris has been campaigning, spotlighting her abilities, pledging to make 50 stops in key states.
Trump has mostly reiterated his past views on complex issues including abortion, IVF and reproductive rights.
Trump is also likely to link Harris to major Biden failures bordering on the economy and immigration.
Meanwhile, Vice Presidential candidates Ohio Republican Sen. JD Vance and Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz will engage in a debate on October 1.
