Vigilante Group Nab Suspected Kidnappers, Rescue 7 Victims

Members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), Nasarawa Eggon unit, has on Monday nabbed six (6) suspected kidnappers from their hideout.

They invaded their hideout at Tudun Waya, Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa state and also rescued 7 abducted victims.

The suspects were said to be responsible for the recent spate of kidnapping- for- ransom along Akwanga/ Nasarswa Eggon/Lafia road.

The six suspects have been handed over to the area’s Police Divisional Office where they were later transferred to the State Police Headquarters, Lafia for further investigation and prosecution.

However, The feat achieved by the Vigilante attracted cheers from residents of the area who tropped in their numbers to have climpse as the suspects where conveyed by the Police to Lafia for investigation and prosecution.
