Village head, others feared dead in dispute over land in Nasarawa

A bloody dispute over land in Maraba Udege, Nasarawa Local Government Area, Nasarawa State had left the village head of the Ebbe Oka and few others dead.

Several others also sustained various degrees of injury in the clash that erupted on Wednesday.

A resident of the community who claimed anonymity confirmed the clash to be clanish between the Ambu and Eki dwellers, all of Afo ethnic group.

Scores of residents also left their residential houses to neighbouring communities and bushes for safety.

However, security operatives has since been deployed to the area to restore normalcy and ensure the safety of lives and property.
