It is obvious that Imo PDP is facing alot of trouble shootings among themselves and if care is not well taken, the party may not stand firm to battle the leading All Progressives Congress APC party as 9News Nigeria gathered.
- However, A frontline politician and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain from Ideato nation, Chief Uzoma Izuogu Okafor, popularly known as Ozuome has warned the National Secretary of PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Sam Daddy) to stay clear and stop meddling over the politics of Ideato federal constituency.
- He alleged that the attempts made so far to disorganized and sabotage the PDP internally by the Secretary has become very embarrassing and glaring to point of shame and the best is to call on him to honorably desist from such act.
- He said pushing and using an unpopular and unknown person like Mr George Igbo to steal result sheets of National Delegates election of Ideato North LGA is a big disservice that deserve sanctions by the party.
- Chief Izuogu, equally called on the NEC of PDP to call SamDaddy to order. He alleged that such antics and schemes look suspicious as one with a bad mission to destroy and set the party on collision course.
- In the contrary, Mr Ikenna Onuoha has called on Chief Izuogu and the People’s Democratic Party to order and adviced them to think about this without pride!

- It is now obvious to every Tom, Dick and Harry in the state that those previously calling for the use of the defunct “statutory delegates” courtesy of Section 84(8) of the Electoral Act, 2022 for the conduct of PDP primaries in the state nearly caused the party the chances of fielding candidates in the 2023 elections.
- Senator Samdaddy must be applauded for insisting that the 3-adhoc (per Ward) and one National delegates (per LGA) be used for the conduct of party primaries
- Senator Samdaddy Must be applauded for saving over 27 would be House of Assembly Candidates, 10 House of Representatives Candidates and 3 Senatorial candidates of our party from avoidable litigation and possible sack by the court if the widely clamored defunct “statutory delegates” were used to elect them.
- Senator Samdaddy Must be applauded for holding the interest of Imo PDP on high esteem and protecting it first against his personal desires
- Senator Samdaddy must be applauded for spending his personal resources in ensuring that the 40 would be candidates of PDP across the three levels of positions (IMHA, FHR, SENATE) are saved from legal battles after election.
- Senator Samdaddy must be applauded for not deceiving PDP and its members in Imo state over the conduct of party primaries.
- Senator Samdaddy must be applauded for accepting to be insulted by every Tom, Dick and Harry in Imo PDP for standing on the side of truth that the 3-adhoc and 1-National delegates will be used to elect candidates for the party
- Senator Samdaddy must be applauded for tolerating unprovoked insults from his younger party men, Ikenga Ugochinyere, Greg O.C Nwadike and one Ozuomee from Ideato for saving them huge money if the defunct “statutory delegates” were ever used to elect candidates
- Senator Samdaddy must be applauded for donating money to Imo PDP football competition under Greg O.C Nwadike and was never acknowledged and appreciated when names of contributors were mentioned by GOC Nwadike yet, he was bold to insult Samdaddy on the media.
- Senator Samdaddy must be applauded for insisting that the 3-adhoc and 1-National delegates representing the rural people who had suffered for the party without tangible reward be used to elect candidates for the party.
Now that those earlier pushing for the use of the defunct “statutory delegates” are aware and convinced that they were deceiving our party and over 200 innocent aspirants for their selfish interest, will they be humble enough to apologize to Senator Samdaddy and Imo people for their clannish and selfish actions?
As a good leader is defined as one that thinks first for the welfare of his people before his own interest, Senator Samdaddy must be applauded for rescuing and rebuilding the hope of PDP aspirants and its members in Imo state even when he is not contesting any election for now.
