The identity of the young girl that was killed and dumped in a drainage system in Enugu has been revealed as Ms Precious Orji.
According to a report made available to 9News Nigeria, Ms Precious Orji was a National Diploma holder of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) before she was allegedly killed and dumped in a gutter.
She was serving in a one year Industrial Training (IT) attachment and according to another source, she attended a religious organisation known as Kingdom Diplomats in Enugu.
9News Nigeria Enugu correspondent is currently making contacts with the Kingdom Diplomats contact person in an effort to further confirm the information of the slain girl’s identification.
Some sources allege that Precious Orji was a victim of ritual killing, but this assertion has not been confirmed at the time of this report.
9News Nigeria had earlier today reported that an unidentified young girl was found on Monday morning, dead and dumped in an open drainage system around Roots Cafe opposite Spar Shopping mall in Enugu State.
The information about the killed and dumped young girl was made available in a Facebook post by one Moses Ebube who wrote: “Found dead this morning around Roots cafe opposite spar shopping mall Enugu Inside gutter share as you receive to reach her people.”
From the way the girl appeared in a photo seen by 9News Nigeria, the girl was allegedly raped and dumped in a drainage, and there has not been any form of identification of the young girl.
She was dumped in her top and underwear without any item that points to her identification.
