On Sunday 24-04-2022, the people of Owerri West local government area of Imo state Nigeria trooped out en-masse to cheer their son Buchi Oparaugo for his legislative acumen and benovelence and asked him to go to the House of Representatives ABUJA to bring back home the recent development the constituency wants.
While Speaking with our correspodents at the event, Chief Chuma Anene of the Buchi MediaTeam stated that Charity begins at home and that is why Chief Buchi Oparaugo consulted with his brothers, sisters and teeming supporters at the Owerri-West secretariat today the 24th April, 2022.
However, Chuma told Pressmen that it was a time to deliver firm promises with clear emphasis on time frame for project executions when elected.
We will recall that there is huge disappointment from those who have been representing this constituency.
It is visible to the blind and loud to the deaf that it has always been failed promises from the past representatives of this mighy constituency.
High Chief Buchi Oparaugo seized this window to assure the people of his intentions for Owerri-West Constituency once elected.
His assurances are thus stated:
ICT infrastructure
Remodel schools
Revamp hospitals
Involve everyone in
constituency jobs
Create jobs
And so much more.
The supporters went wild with jubilation as solidarity songs filled the air in a charged atmosphere.
Against the norm of political promises, the erudite politician willingly and openly asked the teeming supporters to take his direct mobile phone number and promised to answer their calls whenever they call on him.
It is noteworthy to mention here that of all the House of Representatives Contestants for this upcoming elections, it is only Chief Buchi Oparaugo who has consulted widely across all fronts of our political activities as gathered.
This is ranging from party hierarchy to important persons and influencers from APC constituency and at every other level of activities.
Notable personalities were on hand to add their weight to the event including Hon.Clinton Amadi, the state party chairman, Buchi Oparaugo campaign organisation led by the director general, Hon Chika Nwanesi, Hon. Ken Ibemere, Chief Ukoro and lots of other inner cucus personalities too numerous to mention.
Recall that in a previous meeting with Owerri West leaders, at the Avu residence of Dr Fidel Onyeneke, Buchi Oparaugo was widely accepted and was charged to do the best to improve the zone and attract good bills when elected as the 2023 House of Reps for Owerri Federal Constituency.
Buchi Oparaugo has also met with the three Local Government Executives at various zones to present his intentions to his People.
Buchi Oparaugo is repeatedly rated as the FRONT RUNNER in the House of Representatives Race for Owerri Federal Constituency.
