Andrew (Andy) Sandness is adapting to his new face. His face was disfigured over a decade ago after he attempted suicide.
Once finding a matching donor, Sandness underwent a complex surgery that grafted him a new nose, bones, teeth and lips. Now, Sandness says he’s got a second chance at life.
“My mind and body have finally accepted my new changes.” Sandness says.
