The member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Hon Jarigbe Agom, has facilitated more water projects to wards within his federal constituency with three wards benefiting in the first phase.
The benefiting wards include, Ayeko Community in Okuku Ward, Ugaga Ward, both in Yala Local Government Area and Oboso community in Mbube Ward of Ogoja Local Government Area.
Before drilling commenced in Ayeko- community, the Adamoglagu of Ayeko, His Royal Highness Simon Oko, in a historical manner, prayed for the federal lawmaker for remembering the community which have been suffering due to lack of portable drinking water. The traditional ruler called on the ‘ancestors’ to reward Agom’s good measure for rendering quality service to the masses.
The projects will cover the installation of solar-powered boreholes in the various wards which are currently at different stages of completion.
