PORTAIT POLE POSTS (P3) INSTALLED EVERYWHERE IN IBADAN FOR 3SC FOOTBALL CLUB

The management of the Ibadan darling team, Shooting Stars Sports Club, (3SC) has thanked The CEO Fizzie Republic, that owns (OOH) Outdoor Out of Home advertising company for its believe in the ideals of the club which made it to offer free corporate adverts for the team on their Portrait Pole Post (P3).

Shooting Stars’ logos and inspiring inscriptions were posted on P3 boards in major and strategic places in Ibadan metropolis for the past two years, the gesture that had helped the corporate image of the traditional club despite playing at the less fancy league.

The general manager of 3SC, Rasheed Balogun in a statement issued through the media officer of the club, Tosin Omojola and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, thanked Fizzie Republic for believing in the club by offering free corporate advert for the club. Balogun on behalf of the team promised to reciprocate every good gesture towards the club with good performance, by this season winning a promotion ticket back to the elite division.

“I personally have never met this man (Fashogbon Abiodun David) the owner of Fizzie Republic or known his firm before, but he’s quite appreciative of what we are doing to reposition this great club back to the top position it used to occupy in Nigerian football, and that is why we must thank him and urge other well meaning Ibadan indigenes to emulate this good spirit shown by this great man.

“The Governor is supporting us with everything we need to excel and that is why we’re calling on the teeming fans of the club spread across the country to support us with prayers, so we can together return the lost glory of Shooting Stars”, Balogun noted.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the local organizing committee for the recently held World Boxing Federation (WBF) world title boxing show in Ibadan, Veteran Olawale Okunniyi has also issued a statement to appreciate Fizzie Republic for the support offered towards the successful hosting of the fight with free P3 adverts.

“We must thank these private individuals: Engr. Dotun Sanusi, the Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Alh. Abdulwahab Adekunle Hamex and Fasogbon Abiodun David, The CEO Fizzie Republic for the huge supports rendered towards hosting a world class boxing show in Ibadan where our own Ridwan Scorpion Oyekola won world belt in WBF Super featherweight category for Nigeria”, said Okunniyi.

Fashogbon in his response said the gesture was in line with the Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) policy of his firm, which is especially most favorable towards sport.

“We’ve always been doing things for 3SC, because we found out that the future of sports in Ibadan can never be acknowledged without the presence of Shooting stars. Shooting has been a robust club and we’re still hoping that one day we would have Shooting stars becoming big like Arsenal and the rest. We hope we can do more for Shooting Stars and put them in positive light before younger generation and make them a powerful brand”, said Fizzie Republic boss.
