Over the weekend, the president general of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community in Owerri west local government area of Imo state read to the people of Umuoma his policy guidlines to Improve the community and promised to attract the presence of Government down home.
9News Nigeria gathered that the president general Uche NWANERI while Presenting his address pointed out that at his watch, UMUOMA NEKEDE will wear a new look.
He however stated that uniting every Faction in the community and restoring peace among all Umuoma person shall remain his topmost assignment, adding that REVENUE GENERATION through a single treasury account, SANITATION, RENOVATION OF SOCIAL FACILITIES, REVIVAL OF CULTURAL MYTH and EMPOWERMENT will follow suit.
The Traditional ruler of the community, HRH Eze Morrison Eke, Omadike of Umuoma had earlier adviced the president general to set an excellent pace in the community to outshine previous administrations.
A business marchant, Chief Victor Osuji, Baba ukwu electronics, added that the government of Hope Uzodinma has come to bless the people and Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community will not be left behind in the scheme of Government.
Chief Igbokwe who spoke on behalf of the council of Chiefs informed the people that the throne of HRH EZE MORRISON EKE is lifetime and advised Umuoma people to respect him accordingly.
Other Community leaders, that spoke in there respective Presentations had pledged total allegiance to the authentic and Government approved PRESIDENT GENERAL of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community in the person of Hon.Uche Nwaneri.
The youth leader,Mr Nnanna Aharanwa enjoined the youths to stay put and remain united to the call of leadership in the community while the woman leader, Mrs Ijeoma Azuike assured the PG of the women’s support.
The chairman of the Chairmen in Umuoma, Mr Victor Olekaibe and the past PG Pastor Ibe spoke clearly on their resolve to assist PG NWANERI to excel in his leadership.
The turn-up of personalities present at the meeting was massive and the people were happy for a new dawn has come to save Umuoma Autonomous community.
