The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senators on Thursday voted against the Electronic Transmission of Election Results in the Electoral Act Amendment Bill which was passed on Thursday by the Senate in Abuja.
A compilation of Senators who voted Yes or No showed that 52 APC Senators voted NO, and by so doing voted for Electronic Transmission of Results provided National Communications Commission (NCC) must ensure that the national network coverage is adequate and secure and National Assembly must approve of the transmission.
