Agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested a former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Nsima Ekere, 9news Nigeria learned.
9news Nigeria gathered that Ekere is being investigated over diversion of over N47 Billion in public funds through bogus contracts. Ekere’s arrest is coming a few days after the country’s accountant-general, Ahmed Idris was also arrested for fraud to the tune of N80 billion.
