There are clear differences between legislative and executive responsibilities. As a Parliamentarian/Legislator, the primary duty is to make Laws and speaking the conscience of the society through sponsorship of Motions.

To this end, 9News Nigeria put forth, the legislative scorecard of Rt. Hon. Barr. Kennedy Ibeh in his first term to wit:

1. SPONSORSHIP OF 32 MOTIONS.

2. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF OVER 241 MOTIONS.

3. SPONSORSHIP OF 12 BILLS, prominent amonsgt which is the FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY BILL signed into Law in 2017, being a law that seeks to bring about fiscal transparency in the state.

It is enough to score the Honorable Member on the plank of the above as the core expectations of his legislative representation.

However, it is important to make known the executive responsibilities taken up by the astute lawmaker for the betterment of his constituency and constituents. They are: Construction of Orie Mgboma Market in Alike.

Construction of Ultra Modern Lavatory at Ekeja Ehume for the Traders

Restoration of the longlost electricity of the people of Achara

Restoration of the longlost electricity for the people of Umuokwelawom Umunachi

Renovation of the Okwuohia WAEC Hall

Empowerment of Market Women with startup funds through the Market Storm Scheme

Artisan Support Scheme of over 200 Artisans

Construction of the only ICT/JAMB Center in Okigwe Zone cited in Otoko.

Annual sponsorship of WAEC and JAMB for Obowo University aspirants

Facilitation of Admissions into higher institutions for Obowo students.

Facilitation of employments into Civil Service to wit: Uche Mgborogwu of Umuokeh, Chigozie Onuegbu of Ehume, Kingsley Ifeanyichukwu of Alike and Innocent Nwachukwu of Umuokeh)

Deputy Majority Leader, Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Chairman and Chairman of Committees.

Donation of commercial motorcycles as empowerment to our youths.

Donation of vehicles to Obowo sons ( Ikenna Donald Ibewuike of Umuokeh, Kelechi Onyegbule of Umunachi, Chinedu Okeke of Umuokeh, Luis Iwu (ZICO) of Amuzi).

Sponsorship of some Obowo sons to overseas for greener links.

Consistent Annual Constituency briefing with remarkable empowerments including but not limited to empowerment of 10 physically challenged Obowians.

Facilitation of the construction of internal roadlinks in Malaysia Market.

Obowo Cultural Fiesta aimed at restoring and preserving the Obowo cultural heritage.

Construction of 2 bedroom bungalow for a widow in Umukom Mgboma Alike.

Construction of Umuezigwe Civic Hall

Donation of 300KVA Transformer Umunwaada Community in Okwunezigwe Amuzi

Construction of pipeborne water project in Umuakara Ehume

Rehabilitaion of Umuogele Umuariam Water Scheme

Engagement of Obowo sons as Aides with monthly wagebill of 1.2m in Imo State House of Assembly culminating to 57,600,000 in the first term.

Clearance of medical bills at unscheduled random hospital visitations in Obowo.

Construction of pipeborne water in Umuokoro Umuariam

Bursary for Obowo sons and daughters in Nigerian Law School.

Free Education for some Obowo sons and daughters in tertiary institutions.
