As the Presidential candidate kick start consultations in Kano, the ebullient National Women Leader Dr Betta Edu and her Deputy join the Presidential candidate of the ruling party Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice for consultations with kano women in kano where he said women crowned his visit to kano with long standing ovation, cheers of happiness and lauded his support for women in politics.
Dr. Betta in her usual smiles concerntize Kano women to support the presidential bid of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu noting that Asiwaju is the only candidate that will mainstream women into his cabinet with more than 35 % affirmative action and inclusion into policy making and party politics. He appointed the first female Head of service in Lagos, appointed the first Chief Justice in Lagos and employed over 60% of work force as women!
Asiwaju Tinubu in his speech said Happiness will never depart from you women, I will make Nigerian women happy and remain loyal to you. You will never regret voting for me.
Furthermore , the Presidential candidate of the ruling party APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his keynote address noted that women do things conscientiously, always loyal with hard work and diligence assuring them that he will give the Women total support.
He stressed that when he see women and their determination to vote for APC He believes that the party will win with landslide victory. Noting that when he wins the 2023 general election Nigerian Women will be fully involved in governance.
