The Commanders of Owerri West Imo Community Policing over the weekend laid their departed member, late Victor Alimonu Nwaneri to grave in his compound at basic bus stop Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community in Owerri West local government area of Imo state Nigeria.
The burial turned out creme-de-la creme of dignitaries from all works of life including Security experts across the wards of Owerri West.
Information gathered reveals that Late Victor Alimonu Nwaneri was a humble intelligent officer who exhibited his expertise in Owerri West Vigilante group.
In furtherance, Umuoma Nekede vigilante commander, Mr Emmanuel Eberegbulam Chikezie really promoted his gallant men by his involvement in organizing the burial.
He felt deeply the sudden demise of Victor Nwaneri who he said was a close ally and partner in intelligence gathering during his service as a security officer.
Imo Community Policing however extends their heartfelt appreciation to the Majority Leader of the 10th House, Rt. Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi- (Egbe Eji Eje Ogu) for his support and care to Owerri West Imo Community Policing.
In other words, the Governor of Imo state, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma, has invested alot efforts to improve Imo security Policing ISP across the local government areas in Imo state and as such deserves a resounding appreciation.
Our correspodent who covered the burial in Nekede Owerri reports that the berieved family was consoled by the massive turn out of crowds of Umuoma Sons and Daughters, Community leaders, Youth groups, In-laws, Maternal relatives, Imo Security Policing and Umuoma People’s Assembly led by the community President General-Chief Okechukwu Opara, who came to share in their grief while praying God to grant them journey mercies to their respective locations.
Umuoma Nekede vigilante commander, Mr Emmanuel Eberegbulam Chikezie however re-assured their loyalty to Imo State Government under Governor Hope Uzodinma’s administration while charging the security groups to put more efforts to combat crime and criminality in the area.
“Bekee Shell” as popularly called, told the press that the death of his colleague , late Nwaneri was a rude shock to the entire Umuoma Nekede and the security outfits in Owerri West, while praying God to grant his humble soul an eternal rest.
