Rev Cannon Oparada Kenneth in his Sermon, lifted his Bible reading from the book of Revelation chapter 14:13 which reveals the persecution the Jews passed in their days while referring such situation as the death of kelechi Ihueze.

The clergy had earlier consoled the Ihueze’s family while admonishing those that died in the Lord have hope of resurrection. No doubt the funeral service can be referred as a service of a general who came, saw, toiled and conquered.

“The Holy Bible stated clearly the blessings of those who died in the Lord and not for those who would have been poor, rich, attachees to corridor of power, beauty, affluence or those embedded with goodies of life, Not at all, the clergy stated.

He added that it is a very sensitive matter knowing that one day we will all die and the blessing will go only to those who died believing, behaving and contending and defending their fate in God.

Additionally, the clergy hinted that those who died in charity, fighting corruption and injustice can also be termed as those who died in the Lord together with those who were redeemed with precious blood of Jesus while living.

He added that the world is in the days filled with corruption, demonic practices and other inhumane influences and activities but reassured Christians and particularly the Ihueze’s family of the promised Hope in Christ while mourning their lost one.

The preacher further adviced Christians to live a good life and use whatever God has blessed them with to help humanity and improve the society at large, just as he referred late kelechi as a philanthropist.

He told christians to be prepared while still alive in the awaiting of the glorious call, because no one knows the exact time, when, how and where it may occur.

” Life is saddled with alot of labour but those who died in the Lord is going to rest in their labour-Psalms 116: 15.

It was a challenge to the living to plant their ways and for those left to mourn him Wife, Kelechi Ihueze- Hope Ngozi, Children -Victor, Victoria and Valentine, In-laws and host of other relatives to live above board and emulate the good side of kelechi.
