Governor Alex Otti of Abia State Nigeria has declared that the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR have no hands in the detention of the IPOB leader, Mazi NNAMDI KANU.
Otti stated this at a media parley held in the state capital Umuahia over the weekend.
He further pointed out that he has been working underground to secure the IPOB leader’s release despite not revealing his efforts to the media.
He added that different approach would not be made public untill it had yielded the desired results.
“My personal position is that the New government does not need to inherit the wrong things of the previous administration, Governor Otti advised.
The Governor did not mince words to describe IPOB leader’s incarceration as worrisome while pleading with President Tinubu’s administration to look into his release.
He stated very clearly that Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and that of Governor Hope Uzodinma were not responsible for NNAMDI KANU’s incarceration.
