The Year 2024 All Igbo day celebration was held in the United Kingdom UK on Saturday the 13th day of July, 2024.
The event was well attended amid crowds of dignitaries from all works of life in the Igbo central states converge in United kingdom UK.
9News Nigeria reports that year 2024 All Igbo Day in United kingdom showcased the rich cultural heritage and hospitality of which the Igbos are known.
The event featured all villages, communities and states in the East Central region, including Deltans and some Riverians who happily converged in UK to witness the celebration.
States like , Imo, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra, Delta, Rivers were fully represented in their colourful outfits and both local and diasporan delegations were well recognised in the Igbo UK event that took place Saturday.
The Royal Father of the year 2024 All Igbo Day celebration, His Royal Highness HRH Eze Kingsley Ordu is the Traditional Ruler of Dindi Ihiagwa Autonomous Community in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo state Nigeria.
This Year’s Igbo Festival, termed Congress, of Igbos in United kingdom UK was well attended as our correspondent reports.
The event featured alot of music presentations from Igbo musical legends and artists. Arts and culture was also showcased by all the states invited to the Congress.
