An entertainer in Jos, the Plateau State capital, Jonathan Godswill, has said he is the only one who came out in Jos to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during the national protest that started on Thursday all over the country.

The entertainer also known as “Joe B”, said, he was bold enough to wear the branded T-shirt of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the midst of angry anti-government protesters in Jos.

The Entertainer who prides himself as “King of Night Life in Jos”, added that while protesters were raging over the policies of President Tinubu, he however, hosted over 500 people to a dance party in support of All Progressives Congress (APC), led federal government.

“I hosted over 500 people today (Thursday) in Jos, in support of President Tinubu. We ate, barbecue, drank assorted wines, alcohol, all to celebrate the ever working Mr President who inherited a bad economy from the previous administration, and he is working hard to fix it.

“You don’t expect Tinubu to fix the damages done by former President Muhammadu Buhari in one day.

“Tinubu is just one year in office and I don’t understand why Nigerians are so in a hurry to judge him. I am sure this protest is the handiwork of the opposition who are out to frustrate him.

“Before the general elections, I supported Tinubu, I campaigned and work for him and I am still standing on that mandate”, he said.

He continued by saying that most of the APC supporters in Plateau, betrayed Mr President by joining the protest, a character he termed as ‘hypocritical’.

He however, lauded the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike, for transforming Abuja in one year, as well as a strong and supportive political backbone to Tinubu, as he also praised the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Federal Housing Authority, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, and Senate President, Godswill Obot Akpabio for the strong and formidable support given to the President by providing transformative leadeship in governance.

“I also want people to know that Governor Caleb Mutfwang is the best thing that has happened to Plateau, He is uncommon Governor who has repositioned the State and saved it from the hands of those who never wanted Plateau progress.

“Mutfwang has put to good use the subsidy palliative given to him by President Tinubu to cushion the effect of subsidy removal on the masses.

“No wonder Plateau people love Mutfwang”, he added.

The Entertainer, who informed that he is an Igbo man from Abia State with a Plateau mother, born and raised in Jos, Plateau State, advised Nigerians to stop the hate and pursue a common goal that will bring prosperity to the country.
