The writer of some fantastic childrens’ cartoons, including Danger Mouse and Count Duckula, Brian Trueman has died aged 92.
This revelation was made by his son Ben Trueman on Sunday 1st, saying that his dad died after ‘92 years of happy life’.
“He was clever, funny, resilient, an absolute gentleman, loving and loved. We will all miss him so much.” He said.
9News Nigeria reports that Trueman was primarily known for his work with the British animation studios, being credited for 79 episodes of the original Danger Mouse series, as well as four from the 2015 remake.
He was also credited for 11 episodes of the legendary cartoon Count Duckula.
Many children who miss the beloved childrens’ cartoons would also fondly remember the writer and voice of the legendary series.
