Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti has declared Kylian Mbappé’s adaptation to the team complete following his high-profile summer transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
The French forward has made an impressive start to life at the Bernabéu, netting 13 goals in 23 appearances despite battling injuries.
According to Ancelotti, the best of the 26-year-old is yet to come.
“His adaptation period is over. He’s improving, motivated, and happy here,” Ancelotti told reporters after Mbappé’s return from injury.
The forward marked his comeback with a goal in Madrid’s Intercontinental Cup triumph.
Ancelotti identified consistency as a key area for Mbappé’s development, emphasizing his role as a finisher rather than a playmaker.
“I don’t ask him to build up play; I want him to break free and finish,” he explained.
