Dimeji Lawal ,Former Nigerian international has implore the Super Eagles to treat every team in their group equally.
Recall that Nigeria have been grouped in Group C alongside Tunisia, Tanzania and Uganda of the tournament.
However, Lawal, in a chat with Completesports.com, stated that the Super Eagles must avoid underestimating any team if they are to qualify from the group and go on to win the trophy.
On paper, the Super Eagles should be able to progress to the knockout stages of the competition with ease.
But since football is not mathematics, then Nigeria must ensure they treat every team equal in order to qualify from the group.
“I still believe Nigeria still has the quality to win the competition if everything goes well as planned.
I just hope the players will approach every game like a cup final.“This is a tournament that the Super Eagles will go far in and possibly lift the trophy.”
