Baring any last minute changes, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA will by tomorrow, for the first time in history, have two senators in the National Assembly.
Senator Princess Adaeze Stella Oduah representing Anambra North senatorial zone has concluded plans to defect to APGA in a ceremony scheduled to hold at Abuja today.
Princess Oduah was sighted at Awka yesterday finalising talks with APGA top leaders for her formal defection tomorrow.
From the innermost we learnt that APGA leaders are very enthusiastic and have summoned party stakeholders to Abuja to receive her.
A text message is been circulated to APGA leaders to be at APGA Secretariat of the party. Senator Oduah is a big fish for APGA. Her entry will increase the national outlook of the party.
With her and senator Umeh at the senate, Anambra is now an APGA state. PDP which produced the 3 senators from Anambra at the end of 2015 general elections, no longer have any senator in the Red Chambers.
With Senator Oduah defecting to APGA, her political son, Hon Chuchu Onyema of the House of Reps will likely dump PDP for APGA.
We will keep an eye on the development and bring you updates as events unfold.
