Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has narrowly escaped injury after being involved in a minor road accident along the Daura–Katsina Road.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday evening while the Governor was on official duty, did not result in any serious injuries, according to a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.
“Governor Radda suffered a minor accident on the Daura-Katsina Road while carrying out his official duties in service to the people of Katsina State,” the statement said.
“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” it added.
The statement further noted that the Governor remains in high spirits and expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for protection, and to the people of Katsina State for their prayers and concern.
Governor Radda has since resumed his engagements.
