Former Governor of Abia State and Chairman of the Senate Committee on South East Development Commission (SEDC), Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has extended warm felicitations to former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd), on his 84th birthday.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Kalu described the former Head of State as a mentor and political father whose influence has been pivotal in shaping his own political journey.
The lawmaker and business mogul commended Babangida’s leadership style, courage, and vision for a united Nigeria, noting that his contributions to peace, stability, and national integration remain indelible.
