Pep Guardiola asked without ‘any disrespect to Ederson’ how Donnarumma has impacted #ManCity’s defence:
“Never, never, never will I compliment Donnarumma disrespecting the most important keeper that we’ve had in this club in 10 years. Ederson has been massively important in the build up and given us the biggest moments.
But, Gigio is taller, like Erling is taller than Sergio Aguero for example. The long balls his presence to go there [and claim it] gives us a boost. Just because he’s taller, not other reasons.”
