The Rivers State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon. Major Jack, has launched a massive empowerment initiative estimated at ₦350 million for constituents under the “Major for Major Impact Empowerment Programme.”
The empowerment package includes 20 Toyota Camry cars, six Keke buses, six canoes, 10 motorcycles, 15 SUMEC generators, 15 giant-size deep freezers and fishing nets, among other items.
As part of the programme, 23 widows are reportedly set to receive ₦500,000 each, while market women and other beneficiaries are also expected to receive cash support.
The initiative is designed to provide beneficiaries with means of transportation, support small businesses and strengthen economic activities within the constituency.
Hon. Major Jack is also being mentioned in political circles as a potential 2027 APC Deputy Governorship candidate in Rivers State.
The scale of the empowerment has generated considerable interest among constituents, with beneficiaries expected to receive the items and financial assistance under the programme.
