COPYRIGHT: Only Blackface can explain his grouse with me, 2face says

Days after subtly replying his former band member Blackface who threatened to end his musical career in the year 2019 over a copyright infringement war, 2face has openly replied his one-time close pal.

In a radio interview on Max FM, 2face said only Blackface can explain the grouse he has with him after he (Blackface) claimed to have come up with group name Plantashun Boiz and accused 2face and his manager, Efe Omorogbe of stealing his song titled ‘Let Somebody Love You’.

“Na only Blackface fit explain the problem he get with me,” 2face said during the interview.

Recall that Blackface had earlier threatened to end the career of 2face in the year 2019.

Blackface delivered his threat after posting a cryptic message on his Twitter handle @blackfacenaija saying the career of 2face will end this year after they both must have had their day in court.

Blackface wrote; “Can the WAR officially begin @official2baba? I say it has now officially. Even though you been taking secret shots but you can come out in the open now You know your career is going to end when this is finally over #youareoverwith2019′.

Recall that the pair had been at loggerheads in the last three years over two songs titled ‘Let Somebody Love You’ and ‘African Queen’ which Blackface claimed 2face stole from him and also refused to give him credit for his works.

The allegations had forced 2face and his manager, Efe Omoroge to slam Blackface with a N50 million lawsuit for defamation of character last year in a case which is still in court.
