Nigerian music entertainers have reacted to the governments proposed ban on the importation of generators.
The senator representing Niger South, Bima Enagi, introduced the bill in a bid to reduce air pollution.
Nationwide reactions were recorded as Nigerians criticized the senators and the government. Part of those who joined the band are Nigerians music entertainers, Adekunle Gold and Wizkid.
Nigerians are saying, why ban generators when the government cannot provide constant electricity supply to its citizens.
In a series of tweets, Wizkid, described the lawmakers as ‘F*cking d*ck heads’. In another, he wrote ‘misplaced priorities’.
Adekunle Gold on the other hand twitted saying; ‘A government that can’t provide constant electricity thinks it’s genius to ban generators nationwide.’
