In a significant show of support, His Royal Majesty, HRM. Oba Abdulazeez AKINDE, FCA recently welcomed the Igbesa Awards Committee to his palace, expressing his delight at the initiative aimed at promoting unity and development in Igbesa land.

During the courtesy visit, Kabiyesi emphasized the importance of unity among the various communities in and around Igbesa, highlighting the potential benefits of collaboration. “Collaboration among the communities would yield even greater benefits than those currently being enjoyed,” he noted.

The king also advised the committee to incorporate engaging programs into the award presentation event, ensuring a more impactful experience for attendees. He expressed his anticipation for the program, particularly with the announcement that Professor Godwin would deliver a keynote address.

The committee shared plans for a high-profile attendance, including the Deputy Governor, Local Government Chairman, senators, and commissioners. Kabiyesi expressed his happiness and gratitude, officially endorsing the initiative.
