Archbishop Province of the Niger and the Bishop of Awka Diocese, The Most Reverend Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim has described Dr. Godwin Maduka as God’s gift to Anambra State.
In a message at the maiden Youth award ceremony by the Anglican Youth Fellowship of St. Augustine’s Parish Amawbia, Most Reverend Ibezim said Dr. Godwin Maduka has shown exemplary leadership qualities worthy of emulation.
In an address, the Chairman, organizing Committee of the event, Mr. Chibueze Okongwu explained that Dr. Godwin Maduka was chosen for the award based on his track record as a distinguished philanthropist.
Director of Media to Doctor Godwin Maduka, Dr. Emezie Madu who received the award on behalf of the awardee described the award as an eloquent testimony of a benevolent man.
The event was put together to honour those who have contributed immensely to the well being of youth and to raise funds to set up skills acquisition centre for the youths.
