Nigeria’s globally renown medical authority and ever youthful physician, Dr. Godwin Maduka (Okosisi Orumba), yesterday hosted thousands of Anambra State youths to an event at his Umuchukwu hometown. He described the youths as not being only youthful, but also useful in living up to our slogan as the “light of the nation”.
The Anambra 2021 frontline gubernatorial aspirant went further to reveal his vision for the youths of Anambra which includes; fighting crime by job creation, subsidised tuition for higher education, ICT revolution, skill acquisition & empowerment and many more. He charged the youths to utilize their potentials and be stakeholders in governance.
The event which had Artists and MCs like Slow Dog, J-Martins, MC Parrot Mouth etc thrilling the audience, was well attended by various youth groups, civil society groups, women groups, media houses and religious bodies. Okosisi Orumba pledged to continue his communion with the youths in his quest to take Anambra to the next level.
