Anambra Governor Charges New Commissioners on Synergy With Civil Servants As He Promises Civil Service Reforms

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has asked his new commissioners to work harmoniously with civil servants they will meet in their various ministries so as to attain excellence.

Governor Soludo, whose speech at the inauguration of the commissioners was thought provoking and deep, reminded them that they need a good blend with the civil servants to achieve to the letter, the Soludo solution for the state.

He spoke glowingly about the coming reforms that will help in building an excellent civil service that is technology driven, for proper delivery of the policies and programmes of the present administration.

The Head of Service, Barrister Theodore Igwegbe, was among the top government functionaries, who witnessed the swearing in ceremony at the Exco Chamber of the Government House, Awka.

Among the new commissioners are the commissioner for Information, Chief Paul Nwosu, the commissioner for Housing, Honourable Paully Onyeka, the commissioner for Tourism, Entertainment and Leisure, Mr. Don Onyenji, and commissioner for Women and Social Development, Honourable Ify Obinabo.
